The Jewish Community Endowment Fund will
enable the present generation of community leaders to fulfill the promise of guaranteeing
a Jewish tomorrow to the Jewish people. It provides for those of the next generation
who will assume the mantle of community leadership. Unrestricted gifts to the
Jewish Community Endowment Fund enable our Jewish Community to shift priorities
as the world around us changes. Legacy grants give Orange County Jewry the means
to:
- Respond to emergencies that we cannot even predict from where
we stand today.
- Offer rescue and relief to Jews in trouble around
the corner or around the world.
- Challenge our imagination to
innovate better ways to build our community.
- Recognize the dramatic
changes affecting North American Jewish life and find attractive new approaches
to reinforce Jewish identity.
Contributions, principal and income
earned on principal remain with the Foundation. The Community Foundation makes
grants from income earned on this fund. There is no minimum contribution level.
